Exhibition Date Change

QUEST Grad Exhibition has moved up this year. Grads will share their learning with our school and their families on the afternoon of Friday, May 17th. Graduation will still happen at the end of June, but will NOT follow Exhibition, but rather happen on its own day. We strongly encourage Grad families to attend both!

Some of the reasons for this change:

-Holding both Graduation and Exhibition in the same day is an emotionally stressful day for Grads

-Spring is a busy time for this age child outside of school (sports, nice weather outside, etc.)

-May provide time for Grads to see the fruition of their actions and continue them for a longer time frame

-A May date allows Grads to enjoy graduation day without the stress of presentations on the same day

-Combining them made for a long day for QUEST students - especially our youngest friends and kids that have trouble sitting for long periods of time.

-Combining was difficult for families because some parents had to choose between the two events because they couldn’t take a whole day off; and was a long, emotional day for them too.
